New Year’s Resolution: Create a Morning Routine

How will a morning routine help you?

When you start every day with healthy habits and focusing on what is important for you in your life, you consciously and subconsciously take actions towards the life you want.

The main benefits of a morning routine performed every day is that not a day will go by without you thinking about your goals and what you want to reach which in turn helps you achieve them

Depending on what your morning routine consists of it can help you with everything from getting more focused and effective to getting into physical shape.


#1 The Night Before…

Clean up your home so in the morning when you get up, you are waking up to a clean environment. It is so refreshing to wake up with no dishes to do! If you put things away the night before, you will not have to waste the time in the morning when you are the most creative.





#2 Set the Tone for the Day

Make your bed as soon as you get up. It makes the room look complete and tidy. (Do you need to buy a new bedspread?)


laundrybasketPut your dirty laundry in the laundry basket. Don’t leave it laying around on the floor or hanging from a door nob.





#3 Weigh Yourself

If staying in shape and getting healthy is one of your goals, weigh yourself everyday in the morning before you eat.


#4 Exercise

Carve out time in your morning to exercise. Even if it is just 15 minutes you owe it to yourself to get up and get moving. Your body will thank you.


#5 Take Your Vitamins

  • Help build a stronger immune system
  • Increase awareness
  • Ensures your body gets essential nutrients
  • Build stronger bones

Vitamins can give your body the boost it needs to get started and help your mind stay focused throughout the day. Be sure to read the directions on specific vitamins so that you are taking them properly.
