As successful business owners we need to have a balanced and healthy lifestyle that will give us the energy, a healthy mindset and a healthy body to tackle head-on the obstacles that we face each day.

Before you began the journey of achieving a healthy lifestyle and maybe losing weight, you may have said things like this: I would like to be thinner. I would like to weigh less. I would like to lose 10 pounds. I would like to be able to play softball. If you want to be or do any of these things, then you have to start doing what is takes to get you there.

If you want to be a healthier weight, then find a diet plan that works for you. There are so many diet books out there and they all work. You need to take the time to find the one that fits your lifestyle, your cooking abilities. Find a diet to get you started. If you have a lot of weigh to lose you may want to switch to a different program to keep things interesting. You could start off your weight loss program with Richard Simmons and switch to the Biggest Loser a few months down the road.
You have to start doing what it takes to be healthy weight.

You want to be thinner. Putting exercise into your daily routine will get you there.
Not only do you have to change your eating habits, you have to put exercise into your program. If you just change the way you eat, you will lose weight, but exercise will help you develop the body that you want.
You need to lift weights to create a slender look. You also need to lift weights to give you a defined look. Exercise will also help tighten up the skin as you lose weight.
You will need to improve on your aerobic abilities, so you must start doing aerobic exercise.
Exercise routines can become stale. Your body can adapt to the exercise routine after a couple of weeks. My best advice for you with exercise, is to change your workout program every 14 to 21 days.
By changing your workouts you will see more dramatic changes in your body. For example, if you are using free weights and you are working sets and reps, after two weeks switch to a kettle bell workout. This will exercise the muscles in a different way and this will keep your body from becoming use to the exercise routine and slow down the weight loss process.
